• Contact form: name, email address, phone number (if you give one), topic and message, plus the time sent and the language of the page.
• Privacy request form: email address, the type of request and any details you add.
• Spam protection: a one-way hash of your IP address is used to limit how many messages can be sent. The IP address itself is not stored with the forms.
• Server logs: the web server records the usual technical data (IP address, time, page requested, browser identifier) for security and troubleshooting.
• Visitor statistics: the server’s statistics tool (AWStats) counts visits from these logs – for example pages viewed, times, browsers and visitors’ IP addresses. Only the site’s administrators can see them (password protected). They use no cookies and nothing in your browser.

We answer enquiries and look after customer and business relationships, on the basis of our legitimate interest and steps prior to a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and (b)).

Form protection, server logs and visitor statistics rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and seeing how it is used (Art. 6(1)(f)). Privacy requests are handled to meet a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

• Messages sent with the form are kept on the server for 12 months and then deleted automatically. Messages delivered by email are kept as long as the matter and the customer relationship require.
• Privacy requests are kept for 3 years so that we can show they were handled.
• The identifiers used to limit sending are deleted within two days.

The website and form data are on a server in Finland. Form messages are delivered by email.

We do not sell your data or pass it on for marketing.

• We use no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers and no third-party services. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
• The contact and privacy pages use a session cookie (skynv_session) to protect the forms. It is removed when you close your browser.
• If you choose the light or dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser’s own storage (localStorage). It is never sent to us.

These are strictly necessary for the site to work, so no separate consent is asked for them.

You have the right to know what data we hold about you and to get a copy of it. You can also ask us to correct or delete your data, to restrict its processing or to transfer it, and you can object to processing.

If you think your data is being processed unlawfully, you can complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
